Step 1: Ensure the Video Language Is Correct
Before using any AI feature, verify that the language of your video matches the language set in your video settings. The AI relies on this setting to correctly understand and process your content. Selecting the wrong language may result in inaccurate subtitles, questions, or chapters.
Step 2: Start Using AI-Powered Interactions
Once the language is set, start using any AI-powered interaction through the AI Assistant. You can choose from the following:
AI Interactions | What It Does |
Subtitles | Automatically generates subtitles for your video. |
Subtitle Translation | It translates the existing subtitles into the languages you choose. |
Open Questions | It generates open-ended questions based on the video. If you'd like, AI can also evaluate the questions for you. |
Table of Contents | Generates a structured navigation in the timeline based on your video. |
These interactions are available through the AI Assistant, except for subtitle translation, which will be possible soon. For now: Go to Video Settings > Subtitles and click on the "T" icon to select the language you want to translate to.
Step 3: Automatic Transcription Behind the Scenes
As soon as you trigger an AI feature, we automatically create a transcription of your video in the background. This transcription becomes the foundation for all additional AI-generated elements, such as the AI-powered interactions listed above. You don’t have to manage this step manually.
Step 4: Review, Edit & Personalize the Results
After generation, you can refine and customize everything.
AI Interactions | How to Refine |
Subtitles / Translations | Download the new subtitles, edit where needed, and then upload the refined subtitles. |
Open Questions | If needed, adjust the generated questions. Then, try out the AI evaluation or enter the answers manually. |
Table of Contents | Fine-tune placement or rename chapters by editing the interaction. |
